Wash Park West | An Eclectic Oasis
Location: Denver | Date: Kitchen Completed 2014

Design story: While we like to keep most projects moving fast, some call for us to take things slow. That was the story of this project which we had the pleasure of working through for about a decade. The owner, an absolute delight, tapped me in 2004 to help him transform a non-descript spec home into an eclectic and colorful oasis. He wanted to bring in the best of the best so to keep things financially feasible for him, we transformed his home little by little, one space one at a time.
For the kitchen, we worked with a local woodworker to create custom cabinetry, brought in gorgeous Lindsey Adelman lighting to accent the island and used hand painted tiles from Ann Sacks to create a showpiece backsplash.
Other spaces included the entry hall, powder room, guest and master baths. Throughout this project we used high-end materials and loads of texture, patterns and style to match the client’s vibrant personality and eclectic style.
