I’ve just finished a modern bathroom update for my clients in Denver. The space was updated with new materials and finishes while keeping the same footprint. The clients disliked the corner tub and stairs, the outdated tile (which was hard to clean) and the room was very chilly. Here’s the before picture of what we were working with.
And here’s the after! We updated the floors with a large format terrazzo style tile from Ann Sacks and added floor heat to help with the chill underfoot. I love lighting and believe it’s the jewelry of the room so we added this dramatic LED chandelier which also visually dropped the ceiling height. A freestanding Jason tub installed parallel with the wall cleaned up the lines of this space so we could add a decorative rug to soften all the hard lines. Adding a towel warmer makes for nice toasty towels in the winter. This is a perfect spa-like space to read a book while soaking in the tub.
