Design trends often reflect cultural shifts, technology advancements, and personal tastes. While some trends burst onto the scene with bold statements and fade just as quickly, others have a timeless appeal that ensures their place in our homes for decades. From the resurgence of vintage-inspired decor (mauves and arches) to the rise of sustainable materials, the design world is constantly evolving.
Let’s dive into three trends I’m seeing for this year that I think are here to stay for some time…
Warm, Rich Colors
People are tired of gray (FINALLY), and I’m seeing a lot more color emerge. Deep, moody greens seem to be here to stay as they bring the color of nature inside. Blues, a longtime favorite of clients, will always be around as it is a soothing color of the sky and ocean.
Natural wood is also having a resurgence because of the warmth it brings to a home. I always encourage clients to incorporate color that makes them happy and their homes unique.

Curves
Whether on furniture or incorporated into architecture, curved shapes are gaining popularity, offering a softer and more inviting aesthetic. Rounded sofas, chairs, and tables introduce a sense of comfort and elegance, moving away from the rigid lines of previous design trends. Want to see our favorite arches? Click here.

Biophilic Design
This trend focuses on the belief that we all need to connect with nature to be healthier and more productive. Incorporating natural elements into indoor spaces enhances the well-being of its occupants. Features such as living walls, natural timber flooring, connecting the indoors with outdoors, and nature-inspired color schemes all contribute to creating a biophilic design.

We are fully onboard with each of these trends and think they are here to stay for some time. I believe the key to navigating these trends lies in blending the fleeting with the enduring—adopting elements that resonate personally while staying mindful of designs that stand the test of time.
