Riverside | Jewel-toned Drama

Design story: For this project, we helped our clients reimagine an unremarkable space into a sophisticated setting dripping in jewel tones. Avid entertainers who recently moved to Boulder from NYC, these clients craved a true dining room and space to lounge in—which we created through the transformation of an unused office space. The dining room was connected to their den and finished with custom cabinetry to give the home loads of drama upon entry. We leveled the living room (from a step down)to eliminate a tripping hazard and create better flow. A master suite was reimagined to create ample storage with his-and-her closets and a more open, functional bathroom. All windows, doors, millwork and exterior were updated for an overall sleek, updated appearance. Dramatic colors and lighting were the signature finishing touch..
